APRIL 2010
We have a lovely new arrival being weanling filly foal Highcroft Heaven Sent, who is by the beautiful Rosedale Lords
out of the stunning HOTY and multi royal champion LJS Heavens Above. Grace should mature around 13.2hh and
hope she will follow in her mothers footsteps. We look forward to showing this beautiful filly and thank you to Lisa
and Rick of Highcroft Stud for allowing us to have this special filly. (pic right)
Marconi Regal Secret has just come home from being broken in. We couldnt be more thrilled with how Reece is
going under saddle and we look forward to showing him under saddle next season as a newcomer hunter.
Next on the breaking in list will be the baby brother to our two successful Leanda girls, being Leanda Hello Mate,
Henry will be off to Margots to be broken in this winter.
We have now finished our last run of Ag Shows in the area with both ponies Polly and Lottie winning multi
championships in open saddle classes at all Ag shows attended. They are now qualified for Melbourne, Canberra
and Adelaide Royals. Both ponies have now been turned out for a long awaited rest.

We have had a fabulous couple of weeks of showing with our team.
VASL 2010: We couldnt be happier when Leanda Hello Darling took out the runner up Newcomer
Large Pony award to her big brother Leanda Hello There. Polly worked beautifully for Margot, thanks to Margot for
the wonderful work put into Polly.
Thorwood Alice in Wonderland who is owned by the McNeill family had a tremendous run in her second HOTY event
winning the Newcomer small pony championship in a lovely line up of ponies and then to top it off the next day with
being a top ten finalist in the Rising Star small pony class, capably ridden by Jordy Wright.
On the home front, Marconi Regal Secret is off to Margot's to be broken in and commence his saddle career as a
hunter pony. Reece is available for sale during this time. Please see for sale page.
At the Summer Royal: Polly's results - 1st Led Arabian RP 2-3yrs old, 1st ridden part welsh 12.2-13.2, 4th led RP filly
12.1-13.1 filly 2-3yrs, 6th led part welsh f/c/g 2-3 yrs in strong classes, 4th ridden rp newcomer 12.2-13.2.
Lottie results - 1st ridden arp 12.2-13.2, 2nd ridden part welsh mare/filly 12.2-13.2 (to polly), 4th ridden riding pony
show pony 12.2-13.2.
And little Alice who we formally owned and campaigned for part of this season, 1st ridden part welsh under 12.2, 1st
ridden arp under 12.2, 1st riding pony show hunter 12.2 and under, 3rd led part welsh mare under 12.2. Congrats
to the McNeill family.
We couldnt be happier with the results at SR for our ponies. Also pleasing was the results at the summer royal for
ponies we formerly owned who have gone on to have great success, congratulations to Brooklyn Show Horses
who own Marconi Gold Effect who counted Reserve Champion ridden buckskin amongst his ribbons and Marconi
Madeline BSH had a great show with both ponies and also a big congrats to Alannah and Peter O'Halloran on
their fantastic show with Marconi Chanel who won Best in Hand Welsh Exhibit and was awarded the Eileen Bartram
perpetual trophy along with Champion ridden welsh exhibit.
At Wonthaggi Agi, Lottie won champion open large pony. Polly won her open class in her height group and also got
best newcomer large pony.
Alice was champion small pony for the McNeill family.
At Lang Lang Agi Polly was reserve champion Riding Pony Newcomer.
Alice was Champion Riding Pony show hunter and won the federal award from the RP Society and was also awarded
Champion Open Small Pony. Well done McNeill family.
Our first show for the year was the APSB Welsh groups Open Show held at Bunyip. We took along our lovely
Thorwood Royal Scandal for an outing and were thrilled to have her win Champion Large pony in the first ring and
Reserve Champion Led Pony.
The gorgeous pony Thorwood Alice in Wonderland has been sold to the McNeill family in Victoria and we wish them
much fun and success with Alice.
DECEMBER NEWS
We took full sisters Leanda Hello Darling and Leanda Hello Sailor to Neerim Agi on the weekend. This was Hello
Darlings saddle debut and to our delight she won the Novice Saddle Pony and placed 2nd to her older sister Hello
Sailor in her Open saddle pony class. We were very excited then when our two lovely sisters were named Champion
and Reserve Champion Large Pony respectively.
Thorwood Alice in Wonderland was Reserve Champion Small Pony ridden by Jordy Wright.
Leanda Hello Sailor successfully competed at Catani Ag winning her saddle class and being named Reserve
Champion Large Pony and the previous week at Dandenong Ag being named Champion Large Saddle pony.
NOVEMBER NEWS
We are very excited with the purchase of an exquisite new filly. A yearling Riding Pony named Pemberly Model or
Chloe at home. Chloe is by by the beatiful stallion Dainhill Royal Bow out of the very successful mare Helden Park
Petite. We look forward to a great future with Chloe.
Our lovely young mare Thorwood Alice in Wonderland competed at the RT Edgar EFA State Titles and worked very
sweetly for Jordy Wright to be awarded Top Ten Newcomer Small Pony. Pictured below.
Alice then competed at Maffra Ag where she was awarded Champion Small Pony winning a beautiful woollen rug.
Leanda Hello Sailor has had a good start to the season with an open win and reserve champion Large Pony at
Maffra Ag
